ART ROLDAN, OWNER AND FOUNDER: Passionate, creative, and inventor of the lettuce bun, a “game-changer” in the food industry, Art also owns a premium sports memorabilia company, where he invented “shadow-boxing” items, serving clients such as Joe Namath, Reggie Jackson, Tony Gwynn, and Rod Dedeaux. He also owned and operated a regional trucking firm with 13 vehicles and 35 employees.

DOUG REMINGTON, CFO: Doug is a seasoned and driven corporate officer, having served for over 33 years as Chief Financial Officer in two major manufacturing sectors. From a management perspective, Doug knows the importance of maximizing and effectively blending the “3 P’s,” people, process, and product. His most recent success was in helping build a national ethnic food distributor. He has acquired all the experience, hands-on knowledge, and food expertise needed to support Pro-Team Buns in its launch and growth phases. Doug earned his degree in Business Management at California State University, Northridge.

DOTTY EWING, CMO and DEVELOPMENT: Dotty is accomplished and experienced in new product introductions, ranging from the launch of Hewlett Packard’s PhotoPrinter in Japan, Top Ramen in the US, and digital TV for Charter/Spectrum cable in the western US. She also developed, from inception, the design, procurement, and marketing of an embedded digital network in the equestrian genre (HRTV, The Network for Horse Sports) and successfully fulfilled marketing and sales executive roles with Showtime, Lifetime, Playboy, and start-up TV networks, SiTV and The Horse TV Channel. Dotty holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

FRANK CALMA, PRESIDENT: Senior level proven “turn-around” executive with 35 years of experiences restructuring food processors to significantly higher valuations and sustained profitability. Noted examples of recent successes include Culinary Brands and Reynaldo’s Mexican Foods, both of which he transformed within one year from insolvency to continued positive cash flow. With general management stints at Herdez USA and StarKist Foods, he accomplished significant partnerships (Herdez with Hormel) and strong sales networks among both foodservice and retail consumer distributors.

LaCURTIS MAYES, COO: LaCurtis’s 20 years at Target, in Logistics and Operations honed his comprehensive problem-solving skills, blending his leadership talents to develop effective and efficient procedures and solutions that positively impacted sales growth. Working in the Southern California area with over 200+ employees, he was a positive leader, mentor and trainer as he also supervised the build and redesign of several regional stores.

TIM HAHN, M.E., CHIEF ENGINEER and DESIGN LEADER: Tim is a Mechanical Design Engineer working with inventors, entrepreneurs and engineers to create prototype and mass production systems. At Honda Research and Development, Tim was the first American Engineering Group Leader on the mass-produced Honda multi-utility frame body, which is now produced in the $45 million Honda South Carolina factory. Tim also holds 3 completed patents, with a 4th now pending US Patent Office approval. Tim has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, trained with the Society of Automotive Engineers, is a director of the National Corrugated Steel Pipe Association, and is a voting member of the American Society for Testing and Materials.
